Cauliflowers Fluffy and Cabbages Green (IFYKYK!)

What an amazing Harvest season we had during September and October!

Members of our team had the privilege of speaking at several Harvest school assemblies and church services.

In case you are wondering about the title of this blog, they are words from a favourite Harvest song which was performed by the pupils of St. Bart’s Primary School, Penn.

60 schools, churches, local businesses and community organisations took the time to promote and support the needs of The Well. A total of 7656 kg was donated. This is just under last year’s weight received and is a remarkable amount considering the current economic climate.

Our shelves are now full and overflowing with the full range of items we aim to include in each parcel, ensuring every person has 3 days of meals as well as essential toiletries.

We are so grateful to every individual and family who contributed so generously.
