Harvest Festival 2025
Harvest is fast approaching!
Harvest is a time to celebrate God’s goodness in all the wonderful produce that comes from the earth to nourish us.
For The Well, as for many foodbanks, it is also a time to replenish our stock in readiness for increased winter demand, when heating costs put an extra financial strain on those we support.
We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received over from schools, churches and businesses during this festival over the years.
We would be so grateful if you would consider supporting The Well this Harvest time.
Harvest Collection Ideas
Here are some successful ideas from previous Harvest Festivals:
-have a drive-thru collection on your church car park supervised by church members
-have a drop-off point at your home/workplace for your home group/neighbours/friends (one church used wheelbarrows!)
-hold a themed competition across the school years/classes/houses (eg: donate foods/tins of a particular colour)
-pool financial donations & order a supermarket delivery to our warehouse/ask us to bulk buy for you.
DONATING
-If you can deliver your Harvest donation to our warehouse it would be a great help to us. Our opening hours are:
Monday: 10am – 2pm
Tuesday-Friday: 8am – 3pm
